ABOUT THE FOUNDER

I am a retired educator. I worked in the Alabama public school system for 37 years. During my teaching career, I created lots of teacher made materials for my students in the classroom to reinforce learning skills and also to make learning easy and enjoyable.

As an extension to my teaching career, I decided to use my creative mind to explore new ideas in learning by creating and inventing the Dot Counter. As I was working with children in the school setting, I would often find myself cutting, pasting, and making my own materials to help accommodate each individual learning style. Even though I am retired and not working directly with school children, I still have a passion of wanting to create something new and different.

So, during my spare time, I would experiment with different materials, hoping to make life just a little easier for students, teachers, and parents. I created this game to help children have a fun and an exciting way to learn math.
